January 2006 Newsletter

Check the web page ( www.stjames-liberty.org/kofc ) for the January calendar. Print one out for yourself and please be aware of this month’s activities, we need your help!

n Eucharistic Adoration every Thursday. Try to spend one hour a week with Jesus during this next year.

n Black-eyed Pea Dinner January 1^st 10am – 3pm

n Roses for Life Jan. 7-8 If you would like to help hand out roses please show up to your Mass 20 minutes early.

n 2^nd & 3^rd Degree in Smithville Feb 19^th. Starts at 12:30 pm. All first degree Knights are encouraged to experience these Degrees. A meal is served afterward which your family may attend. 3^rd and 4^th Degree Knights show up and support these Knights.

n Free Throw Contest Jan. 15^th in the gym. Awards will be given for First Place Boys and First Place Girls.

n January 8^th Quarterly Meeting 6pm. Meal served after. A note for the Feb. Meeting, once again we will be inviting the Knights wives to the Feb. meeting and the Chair couple for the Ladies Auxillary will be there to talk about starting this up and answer any questions. Mothers, Daughters, and Widows of Brother Knights may join the Ladies Auxillary.

n Gaming Night moved to Paul Raburn’s house on the 4^th Wed of every month. Thanks Paul! Paul may be reached at 415-4688

n First Degree Team Mtgs this month in the school music room are held on the 4^th and 28^th at 6:30PM. We need a couple more men to help fill a few positions.

n Fish Fry’s coming up! We have some guys who said they would help chair this up. We will need to meet some time this month.

n As far as I know…Al & Stella still hospitalized. Please continue to pray for them!

n St. Mary’s Food Kitchen happening this month as well as 4^th Degree Meeting. Check the calendar.
