Old Business:
1.
Discerning God’s call for
the Parish Meetings – follow-up

discernment at the meeting May 20th. He has been pleased with the process with Larry Kramer’s guidance
and the commitment of parishioners who have helped on this project.
2. Pictorial Directory
Chuck said the signs are up for the pictorial directory,
and that it is very easy to make an appointment for your photo on the parish
web site. It was also mentioned that
Carrie Roberts, chairperson for the directory, wants ideas for the cover of the
directory. She also needs all ministry
group pictures by August 1st.
New Business:
1. Father Matt Link’s welcoming gathering
There will be a reception
May 25th and 26th after Masses to meet Father Matt. The Knights have offered to take care of the
reception.
2. Update on Director of Liturgical Music

had good response to the ads for a liturgy director, and are currently
interviewing. They hope to have the

been set.
Administration and
Stewardship: Chuck Koesterer
The
2005 budget was handed out to members.
Chuck noted the income projected is $90,000 less than last year. They tried to be realistic and juggle some
things. After review of the budget, if
members have any further questions you may contact Father Joe or Len Platt.
Pastor’s Comments:
1.
Beth
Kazanowski is the new parish bookkeeper.
She will be working together with Len.
2.
We
are trying to put together a stewardship section in the bulletin to include
“Time, Talent, and Treasure.” Receipts
are being included in the bulletin once a month.
3.
Wants to redo the whole liturgy committee to
work together as a team.
4.
Thanks
to Kimberly Lay for her service to the council. This is her last meeting.
The
next business meeting will be Monday, August 8th at 7:00 p.m. Opening and closing prayer will be by Bobbi
Roman.
