Libby Hernandez and her family have been members of the St. James family for over five years. Libby was confirmed into the Catholic faith here at St. James. Her husband, Mike Hernandez, grew up in the Catholic faith as well as participated in Catholic education through middle school. Mike is a local business owner. Libby has two children, Olivia and Sammy, who currently attend St. James School.
Libby has recently accepted the position as school secretary for the St. James School. She has been actively involved volunteering there since her children started preschool and has been the auction chair for two years helping to raise extra revenue for the school. Libby has been involved in several other ministries at St. James including the women’s Bible study ministry. Libby enjoys deepening her faith in God through the exploring the Bible. Libby describes St. James Parish as her family’s second home.
